Jio, Airtel & Vi roaming in Singapore vs a travel eSIM
There is no Jio Singapore pack and no
Airtel Singapore pack: Singapore sits inside Jio’s multi-country packs and Airtel’s one all-country set. Jio international roaming plans for Singapore are all multi-country; only Vi names Singapore, in a five-country South Asia pack. On 12 Oct 2026 the twelve packs in our two tables cost about ₹194 to ₹796 per GB where data is capped, and ten include minutes on your Indian number.
Short answer: there is no Singapore-only pack from Jio or Airtel
Jio international roaming plans for Singapore come from four multi-country families: the 100-country, 75-country, World Pack and data packs.
Airtel sells one pack set for every covered country. Vi’s South Asia pack, ₹1,899 for 5 days, covers Singapore with four neighbours. Prices as listed on 12 Oct 2026.
Choose a pack when you must make or take calls on your Indian number. Choose an eSIM when the trip is about data. A Singapore eSIM from India carries data only; install the eSIM in India; it connects when you land abroad.
India’s Ministry of Tourism data put departures to Singapore at about 1.5 million in 2025 (our derivation: a 4.7% share of 32,829,079 departures). Singapore’s Tourism Board counted 1.2 million arrivals from India in 2025, by its own method; the two figures do not compare.

Jio international roaming plans that cover Singapore
These six Jio international roaming plans for Singapore cost ₹589 to ₹1,551 as listed on 12 Oct 2026. They are a selection: Jio sells longer and larger packs on the same lists, identical for prepaid and postpaid users. Two of the six are data-only, with no minutes and no SMS.
eSIM Go is not affiliated with Jio,
Airtel, Vi or BSNL. Pack details are taken from their own pages on the date shown.

For two weeks, the ₹1,551 pack gives four times the data of the ₹999 data pack for ₹552 more. Jio states that pack benefits apply “only on the preferred partner network in the visited country”. Its validity rule reads: “Your plan validity begins only with your first usage—call, text, or data.”

Airtel and Vi packs for Singapore, including Vi South Asia (table)
Any
Airtel IR pack Singapore travellers buy comes from its all-country set, here ₹998 and ₹1,298 prepaid. Vi roaming Singapore offers come in three kinds: Budget packs, South Asia with 1 GB a day, and Ultra, whose data Vi prints as FREE in its UL zone. The six rows cost ₹995 to ₹3,495 on 12 Oct 2026.
| Airtel and Vi pack | Price | Data · days | Minutes · SMS | ≈ ₹ per GB | Source (checked 12 Oct 2026) |

| Airtel prepaid IR pack | ₹1,298 | 6 GB · 10 days | 200 min · 20 SMS out | about ₹216 | Airtel T&C, 24 Sep 2026 |

Airtel’s set also has ₹698 for 1 GB over one day and ₹2,998 for 10 GB over 30 days. Its own FAQ page still shows ₹898 and ₹1,198; the T&C dated 24 Sep 2026 list ₹998 and ₹1,298. Vi states that its IR packs are “not applicable for customers in J&K, Assam and North East”.
A Singapore and Malaysia trip fits one pack: Vi South Asia, Airtel’s set and the Jio packs above list both (Malaysia roaming).
BSNL is the outlier. Its Singapore special-tariff page lists no data allowance, and prepaid users first need another SIM. BSNL’s page says: “Visit to the nearest BSNL Customer Care Centre and collect the special International Roaming SIM after filling up the necessary forms along with the required documents.”

Cost per GB for a 5-day, 7-day and 14-day trip
On a 5-day trip, Jio’s ₹951 pack works out to ₹190 a day,
Airtel’s ₹998 pack to ₹200 and Vi South Asia to ₹380, though Vi’s gives the most data, 5 GB. All figures are our derivations from prices listed on 12 Oct 2026.
Vi’s 4-day Ultra pack, ₹2,695 with 4 GB in the UL zone, comes to about ₹674 per GB, well above the South Asia pack’s ₹380.
A 7-day trip costs about ₹136 a day on Jio’s ₹951 pack, about ₹86 on its ₹599 data pack and about ₹185 on Airtel’s ₹1,298 pack. Airtel’s 5-day pack runs out two days early. On a 14-day trip, Jio’s ₹1,551 pack is about ₹111 a day; Airtel has no 14-day prepaid pack, and its 30-day ₹2,998 pack is about ₹214 a day over 14 days.
Our Singapore eSIM plans are data-only and run on
Singtel and
M1. 2 GB for 15 days costs ≈ ₹574 (12 Oct rate), and 5 GB for 30 days costs ≈ ₹670 (12 Oct rate), about ₹134 (US$1.40) per GB, charged US$6.99 by card. Your card is charged in US dollars. Your bank converts the amount at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction (forex markup) fee. How card payments work.
Hold those figures against the last column on the day you buy. Pack validity starts differently: ours at the first connection to a Singapore network, Jio’s at first use, Airtel’s when the phone latches on to a covered foreign network. Every plan is on the Singapore eSIM page, and the Singapore SIM card guide covers local SIMs.
A Changi airport SIM is a local alternative: a physical card from a Singapore operator, which needs a free slot. Identity is checked before a local line is issued. We quote no prices for it.
Which Indian SIM works in Singapore matters less for OTPs than SMS: bank OTPs reach your Indian number, which a data-only eSIM cannot receive. To keep Indian number for OTP messages, leave that SIM in the phone as a second line, mobile data off, and ask your operator whether SMS reaches you in Singapore. For incoming SMS alone, Airtel prepaid lists a ₹118 activation that “allows unlimited incoming SMS” for 28 days with an active base pack, and Vi a ₹118 pack with free incoming SMS for 28 days. No page can promise that every OTP will reach you; see the OTP guide.
Full refund within 30 days of purchase, as long as the eSIM has not connected to any network. If the eSIM doesn’t work and it isn’t your phone’s fault, we refund the payment whether or not it was installed.
How we checked these prices
Every row carries its checked on date. We read each operator’s own document on 12 Oct 2026 (IST): Jio’s plan list,
Airtel’s T&C PDF dated 24 Sep 2026, Vi’s prepaid T&C PDF and BSNL’s Singapore page. The ≈ ₹ per GB column divides price by GB. We report published prices and bought no pack.
Coverage comes from each operator’s country lists. For international roaming Singapore appears in Vi’s UL, Budget Set 1 and South Asia lists; Vi’s country page is an image transcribed by hand, so confirm Singapore in the Vi app before you pay. For a Bali leg, see Indonesia roaming.

FAQ
Will my Jio, Airtel or Vi SIM work in Singapore?
A Jio,
Airtel or Vi SIM works once international roaming is on, but for mobile data plan on a roaming pack. Without one, Airtel bars prepaid data abroad and Vi keeps mobile data off. The twelve packs in our tables cost ₹589 to ₹3,495 as listed on 12 Oct 2026.
How much is the Airtel IR pack for Singapore?
Airtel sells one set of packs for every covered country. Its T&C of 24 Sep 2026 list prepaid packs at ₹698 for 1 GB over 1 day, ₹998 for 4 GB over 5 days, ₹1,298 for 6 GB over 10 days and ₹2,998 for 10 GB over 30 days.
