Three terms come up on this page. “eSIM” is the digital SIM you install without a physical card. “Data pack” (or “plan”) is the combination of destination, data and validity in days that you buy. “Activation” is the eSIM’s first connection to a mobile network. Installing the profile — scanning the QR code and downloading it — is not the same as activating it, and refunds depend on activation.
Who sells and to whom
eSIM Go is an online store: on esimgo.in it sells data eSIMs to people travelling from India. The seller is JET SHARING MOBILITY INC (United States), and it charges you in US dollars through Stripe. On your card statement the charge appears as “JET SHARING”, the seller’s payment name, not as eSIM Go: if you see that name, it’s your eSIM purchase. There is no shop and nothing is shipped: buying and paying happen entirely online.
We sell data packs for a trip, not lines with their own number or a permanent service. The eSIM doesn’t replace the mobile connection you already have in India. We help you in English on WhatsApp and by e-mail at support@esimgo.in. Who we are is on About eSIM Go; all contacts are on Contact.
If you’re buying for someone else — say, a family member travelling with you — tap “Buy for someone else” in the order form and add their e-mail. The e-mail with the eSIM goes to both of you.
The product: a data eSIM and how it’s delivered
The product is a data eSIM: a digital SIM you install with a QR code, with no physical card and no delivery. Once Stripe approves the payment, we issue the eSIM and send you an e-mail with the QR code. The order number is in the subject line of that e-mail. You install it yourself, before you travel, while connected to the internet.
The same e-mail also contains the SM-DP+ address and activation code for manual installation, and the steps for iPhone and Android. If the plan has an installation deadline, the e-mail shows the date by which you must install the profile. The QR code and instructions always stay on your order page, which you open with the link in that e-mail.
You need internet to install the profile — hotel or airport Wi-Fi is enough; you don’t need it to use the data at your destination. A QR code installs once and on one phone only: don’t share it or scan it on another device. Step-by-step instructions are on how to install an eSIM.
The catalogue is organised by country and region, with plans of different lengths and data amounts. You choose the destination and the plan, and see the price before paying. Which local network the eSIM connects to is shown on each country or region page.
Price, currency and payment
Every plan is paid by credit or debit card in US dollars (US$), through Stripe, as a single payment. The US$ amount on the Stripe payment form is the amount charged. Next to each plan we show an estimate in ≈ ₹ at the market rate of the day; that rupee amount is not what your bank will debit. Your bank converts the US$ charge at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction (forex markup) fee.
International online transactions must be enabled on your card. How this works, step by step, is on how card payment works. This page is not tax advice; for questions about charges on your statement, check with your bank.
If the payment is declined, we don’t issue the eSIM and you aren’t charged; you can try again with another card. Where a top-up is offered for your eSIM, you buy it from your order page, also by card in US$.
A discount coupon lowers the price of an eSIM before you pay: one coupon per purchase, and it does not apply to top-ups. On some low-priced plans the discount is smaller or does not apply; the order form shows the final US$ amount before you pay.
Activation, validity and phone compatibility
Before paying, check your phone on eSIM-compatible phones: the order form doesn’t check your model. Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked; if in doubt, confirm with your operator or the manufacturer. If the phone turns out to be incompatible and the eSIM never connected to a network, you get the full refund described below.
For almost every destination we sell, the plan days start at the first connection to a network abroad, not on the day you buy; the country page states the rule for each destination. The validity and data of every plan are published on the country or region page before you pay.
If you run out of data, you can buy a top-up for the same eSIM from your order page, when our network partner offers one. The top-up goes onto the profile you already installed, with no new QR code. It queues behind the current plan, and its days count from when it activates.
While you use the eSIM abroad, your Indian SIM can stay active for calls and SMS if your operator allows it on roaming. That depends on your plan with your operator, not on eSIM Go.
Refunds
You get a full refund within 30 days of purchase, as long as the eSIM has not connected to any network. Installing the profile at home changes nothing: the plan can be refunded until it’s used. The money goes back to the same card, in US dollars, through Stripe.
After the first connection, there is no refund: the plan is already in use and can’t be recovered or resold. The exception: if the eSIM doesn't work and it isn't your phone's fault, we refund the payment whether or not it was installed.
If you chose the wrong destination or plan, don’t install the eSIM — write to us with the order number. The full steps and what to send are in the refund policy.
Responsibility and support
eSIM Go sells you the eSIM and helps you install it. The network at your destination, its speed and its coverage depend on the local operator in that country, not on us. eSIM Go is not affiliated with Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL.
Service outages, rule changes in the destination country and decisions by the operator providing the network there are outside eSIM Go’s control. Device registration, app blocking and line limits are set by local authorities and can change without notice.
We help on WhatsApp: step-by-step installation, questions before you travel and complaints after purchase. If it isn’t urgent, write to support@esimgo.in or reply to your order e-mail. If the QR code won’t install, send us your phone’s brand and model, the order number and a screenshot of the step where you got stuck. We’ll take it from there, on iPhone or Android, until the eSIM shows up in your phone’s settings.
Personal data
To sell and deliver the eSIM we ask for your e-mail and, if you buy for someone else, the e-mail of the person who will use it. You enter your card details on Stripe’s payment form: eSIM Go doesn’t store your card number. The seller and our network partner operate outside India, so your order data crosses borders to process the payment and activate the eSIM. What we keep, who else processes it and how to exercise your rights is in the privacy policy.
Complaints and contact
For any problem, write to us first on WhatsApp or by e-mail with the order number. If support hasn’t solved it, write to our Grievance Officer: the page lists the contact details and response times. You can also contact the National Consumer Helpline of the Government of India (consumerhelpline.gov.in). These terms do not limit the rights you have as a consumer.
Every material change to these terms is dated on this page. These terms are written in English, with no other versions for now.
