Which Motorola phones support eSIM in India
Motorola eSIM phones in India are few: Motorola India lists eSIM for 9 of the 31 models we reviewed on motorola.in on 12 Oct 2026. The Razr 60, Razr 50, Edge 60 Stylus and Edge 70 Max have it. The Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 70, Razr 60 Ultra and every Moto G model we reviewed list physical SIMs only.
Near-identical names can differ on eSIM. Motorola India lists “Dual SIM (pSIM + eSIM)” for the Razr 60 but “Dual SIM (pSIM + pSIM)” for the Razr 60 Ultra. The Edge 60 Stylus has an eSIM; the Edge 60 Fusion does not. A review that says the Fusion supports eSIM does not match Motorola India’s page (checked 12 Oct 2026).
We write “yes” only when the store’s “SIM Card” field names an eSIM, and “no” when it names only physical SIMs. Your phone’s own Settings is the final check.
Motorola India models and eSIM (table)
The table shows 8 of the 31 models we reviewed: three with eSIM and five without. Each row quotes the “SIM Card” field on the model’s motorola.in page, opened 12 Oct 2026. The Edge 70 Max is sold in three SIM versions, and one of them has no eSIM. The other 23 models are on the phone list.

How to check your Motorola in Settings
Open Settings, go to the SIM or mobile network section, and look for an option such as “Add eSIM”. If it is there, the phone takes an eSIM. If the section shows only two physical SIM slots, it does not. Run this check before you buy a plan, because it reads the phone in your hand, not a spec page.
Menu names change between software builds, so we give no fixed path. The table covers phones sold by Motorola India, and the Edge 70 Max alone comes in three SIM versions. For an imported Motorola, trust the Settings check over the table.
Adding a travel eSIM on Motorola
Install the eSIM in India; it connects when you land abroad. On a Motorola that lists eSIM, do it at home on Wi-Fi: open the add-eSIM option in the SIM settings, then scan the QR code from your order or enter the details manually. Step-by-step menus are in the Android install guide.
Keep your Indian SIM as the line for calls and bank OTPs, and use the travel eSIM for mobile data only. For almost every destination we sell, the plan days start at the first connection to a network abroad; the country page states the rule for each destination.
No eSIM on your Motorola? Your options abroad
Phones without eSIM, such as any Moto G or Edge Fusion model sold in India, cannot hold a travel eSIM. Three options remain: your operator’s roaming pack, a physical local SIM bought after you land, or a second phone with eSIM. The pocket WiFi alternative, a rented hotspot, is one more device to carry and charge.
Operator pack. Jio, 
Airtel and Vi sell international packs for the SIM already in your phone. The roaming section compares their packs in a table with checked dates. We sell travel eSIMs, so we have an interest here. The table still shows when your operator pack is the better choice.
Local SIM. To buy a physical travel SIM instead, you need a free slot and an unlocked phone. The Moto G85 has two physical slots, so the Indian SIM can stay in one for OTPs. The Moto G35 slot is hybrid: a second SIM replaces the microSD card.
Second phone. A spare phone with eSIM can carry the travel eSIM as a data-only device, while your Motorola keeps the Indian SIM for OTPs.

Does the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion support eSIM in India?
No. Motorola India’s page lists “Dual SIM (pSIM + pSIM)” for the Edge 60 Fusion (checked 12 Oct 2026). The Edge 60 Stylus is a different phone and does list an eSIM.
Which Motorola eSIM phones are sold in India?
Of 31 models we reviewed on motorola.in on 12 Oct 2026, nine list eSIM: Edge 70 Max, Edge 60 Stylus, Edge 40, Razr 60, Razr 50, Razr 50 Ultra, Razr Fold, Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. The Edge 70 Max lists eSIM in two of its three SIM versions.
Does the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra have eSIM?
Not on Motorola India’s page. It lists “Dual SIM (pSIM + pSIM)” for the Razr 60 Ultra, while the Razr 60 lists an eSIM (checked 12 Oct 2026).
Do Moto G phones support eSIM in India?
None of the Moto G models we reviewed does. Motorola India lists physical SIM slots only for the G96, G86 Power, G85, G67 Power, G57 Power, G35, G06 Power, G05 and G Max (checked 12 Oct 2026).
