# Do realme phones support eSIM in India?

realme eSIM support is absent on the India models we checked. realme India's spec pages for the GT 7 Pro, realme 14 Pro+ and realme 12 Pro+ each read "2 Nano SIM Card Slots" and do not mention eSIM. We opened all three on 12 Oct 2026. We did not check Narzo or P-series phones.

## Short answer: the realme India models we checked have no eSIM

"Not listed" is not a formal "no", so we write "realme India does not list eSIM for this model" and treat it as no until realme India says otherwise. The rule covers the three India pages below. It does not extend to Narzo, P-series or any realme we did not open.

We hold no realme page for other markets except the global C75 page, so for a realme bought abroad the Settings check decides, not this table.

## realme models and SIM slots (table, checked date)

The table quotes the SIM-slot line from each realme spec page, opened on 12 Oct 2026. Three India rows come first; the C75 row is a global page, not an India one. The other brands are on the [eSIM phone list](/esim-compatible-phones/).

| Model | eSIM on realme page | Spec page says | Source | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| [realme GT 7 Pro](/esim-compatible-phones/#realme-gt-7-pro) | Not listed: treat as no | "2 Nano SIM Card Slots" (India) | [realme.com/in](https://www.realme.com/in/realme-gt-7-pro/specs) | 12 Oct 2026 |
| [realme 14 Pro+](/esim-compatible-phones/#realme-14-pro-plus) | Not listed: treat as no | "2 Nano SIM Card Slots" (India) | [realme.com/in](https://www.realme.com/in/realme-14-pro-plus-5g/specs) | 12 Oct 2026 |
| [realme 12 Pro+](/esim-compatible-phones/#realme-12-pro-plus) | Not listed: treat as no | "2 Nano SIM Card Slots" (India) | [realme.com/in](https://www.realme.com/in/realme-12-pro-plus/specs) | 12 Oct 2026 |
| [realme C75](/esim-compatible-phones/#realme-c75) | Not listed: treat as no | "2 Nano SIM Card Slots" plus a microSD slot (global page) | [realme.com/global](https://www.realme.com/global/realme-c75/specs) | 12 Oct 2026 |

Before you buy a plan, open Settings, go to the SIM or mobile network section and look for an option to add an eSIM, such as "Add eSIM". Menu names change between software versions, so we give no fixed path.

## Your options abroad without eSIM

Phones without eSIM show no option to add one in their SIM settings, and a travel eSIM will not install on them. Three options remain: your operator's roaming pack, a physical local SIM bought after you land, or a second phone with eSIM. A pocket WiFi alternative is one more device to carry and charge.

**Operator pack.** Airtel's prepaid pack at ₹998 gives 4 GB for 5 days, 150 minutes and 20 SMS, as listed on 13 Oct 2026 ([Airtel T&C](https://assets.airtel.in/static-assets/online-recharge-ui/assets/pdf/tnc.pdf)). Jio and Vi sell packs too; the [roaming comparison pages](/roaming/) put them in tables with checked dates. We sell travel eSIMs, so we have an interest here; those tables also show when your operator pack is the better choice.

**Local SIM.** All four pages list two nano-SIM slots, so your Indian SIM can stay in one slot for OTPs while you buy a physical travel SIM instead for the other; the [OTP guide](/help/keep-indian-sim-for-otp/) covers dual-SIM settings. See [eSIM vs physical SIM](/esim-vs-physical-sim/).

**Second phone.** A spare eSIM phone carries the travel eSIM for data while your realme keeps the Indian SIM. The [Android install guide](/how-to-install-esim/android/) covers setup at home on Wi-Fi.

## FAQ

### Does realme support eSIM in India?

Not on the three realme India pages we checked: none lists eSIM. The GT 7 Pro, 14 Pro+ and 12 Pro+ each read "2 Nano SIM Card Slots" (checked 12 Oct 2026). Treat them as no eSIM and confirm in your SIM settings.

### Do realme Narzo and P-series phones have eSIM?

We did not check them, so this page states nothing about them. Treat a model as no eSIM unless its SIM settings show an option to add one, such as "Add eSIM".

### What can I use abroad if my realme has no eSIM?

An Indian roaming pack on your own SIM, a physical local SIM after you land, or a second phone with eSIM. Airtel's prepaid pack at ₹998 (4 GB, 5 days) is one dated example from 13 Oct 2026.
