The Pixel 9a sold in India supports eSIM, according to Google. Versions sold in other markets have it too. To be sure, dial *#06#: if an EID appears, the phone has eSIM.

## What the spec sheet says

- Google Store India, Pixel 9a specs: “SIMs: Dual SIM (Single Nano SIM and eSIM)”.
- Google: two eSIM profiles at once need a Pixel 7 or later and an operator that allows it.

## Frequently asked questions

### How many eSIMs can the Google Pixel 9a use?

One eSIM alongside a physical SIM. Google does not confirm that two eSIMs work at the same time.

### Can I keep my Indian SIM and add a travel eSIM on the Google Pixel 9a?

Yes: the Pixel 9a takes a physical SIM and an eSIM at the same time, so your Indian number stays on the SIM and the travel eSIM handles data.
